Iranian protesters ask: “Obama, Obama, Are you with the regime or with us?” They should know the answer to that by now.

This is so sad.  We should be helping this.  Instead Obama defunded the groups that could.

The brave Iranian democrats are marching again today against the brutal killer regime on the 30 Year Anniversary of the siege on the US Embassy in Tehran.
The Iranians are protesting in Tehran, Tabriz,

The protesters called out to the Americans:
“Obama, Obama, Are you with the regime or with us?”

Sadly, we all know the answer to that question.
The Obama Administration stands firmly with the regime.

Why are they using our president? Americans are gullible.

    Americans ARE gullible.

We created a group to help push human rights and democracy in Iran and when they finally stood up, Obama turned his back on them and supported the regime.

Yes, Americans are gullible. Americans elected a person who convinced them that he loved democracy and supported it. Americans were fooled.

Instead they got someone who was firmly against the spread of democracy. Ask Iran, ask Honduras.

Ask the New York Times: “Neither President Obama nor Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has even uttered the word democracy in a manner related to democracy promotion since taking office more than two months ago. The State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor has put out 30 public releases, so far, and not one of them has discussed democracy promotion. Democracy, it seems, is banished from the Obama administration’s public vocabulary.”

Ask the Washington Post: “Many human rights activists have been shocked at the administration’s apparent willingness to consider easing sanctions on Burma and Sudan. The Obama presidential campaign was scornful of Bush’s handling of the killings in Sudan’s Darfur region, which Bush labeled as genocide, but since taking office, the administration has been caught flat-footed by Sudan’s recent ousting of international humanitarian organizations.”

So, yeah. Many Americans are gullible. They considered Obama to be loyal to America and its values. What a bunch of fools, right?

You’re full of it, ayfs. You’re making nothing but assumptions about these “freecom fighters”. YOU would help these people get what they want and who will go on to teach their children Jews are pigs and apes and shout Death to America. Gullible, ridiculous, and the reason our country is going to be destroyed. And I’m a Republican who cannot stand Barack Obama. I think most of you Republicans are just using it to insult Obama.

I disagree. The “opposition” president who ran in the election and lost was, realistically, not a good option for the US either. However, think of the political damage that his winning would have caused. Think of those in Iran who truly DO want real democracy. Instead of seeing the US willing to stand behind them, they see the US cowering in fear and supporting the old regime.

This could have been a huge blow to their existing regime, a huge slap in the face of their religiously controlled government, a huge disruption in what they were doing, and a huge improvement of the view of the US with the real people who want democracy there. Instead, Obama supported the “winner” of a fake election and helped support an insane leader.

No true republican would back that.
