WTF?! 73,000 Blogs Shut Down By Unknown US Agency Without A Court Order For Unknown Reasons?

omarxist-300x193Ok, this scares the hell out of me.  How can stuff like this happen in the USA???

Obamunism is getting scary for those of us who rely on the Internet for information. After 73,000 blogs were closed down by Big Government, supposedly for copyright violations, we learn that the actual reason for the shutdown is unknown, as is the identity of the government agency imposing it. From CNET:

Blogetery.com, a little-known WordPress platform used by more than 70,000 blogs, was shut down by its Web hosting company more than a week ago and nobody seems willing to say why or who is responsible.

BurstNet, the Web-hosting company, informed Blogetery’s operator that service was terminated at the request of some law enforcement agency but wouldn’t say which one. As for the reason, BurstNet hasn’t made that clear either. In an e-mail to Blogetery’s operator, BurstNet managers did say that they had little choice but to terminate service.

Everyone Knows That The Gaza Strip Is Hell, Because Of Israel. So Bad That They Just Opened A Luxury Shopping Mall.

Those damn Jews!  It’s so bad that they needed to add this mall to buy the crap they want.  Of course, this sort of conflicts a bit with the BS that the MSM feeds everyone, doesn’t it?

While Hamas continues to complain that Gaza lacks building materials, a luxury mall in Gaza City held its grand opening over the weekend. Among the goods on sale are Israeli men’s clothing, and items from Turkey, France, and the United States.

Photojournalist Tom Gross, who publicized photos from Saturday’s event on his website, noted that the opening coincided with a visit to Gaza from European Union foreign policy director Catherine Ashton. "The BBC and other media have featured extensive reports all day long on what they term the dire economic situation in Gaza; why are they not mentioning the new shopping mall that opened there yesterday?” Gross asked.

Pictures of the new mall were featured on the Palestinian Authority Safa website and by the Associated Press.

A variety of stores sell cosmetics, clothing, office supplies, toys, shoes, appliances and more. The mall boasts air conditioning and a delivery service.

071217478Well, at least he is consistent.  Anything that can be done to kill the economy or jobs will be done.

The presidential offshore drilling moratorium will cost approximately US $2.1 billion in economic loss to the states along the Gulf of Mexico (GoM) in first six months, according to a recently released paper.

“The Economic Cost of a Moratorium on the Offshore Oil and Gas Exploration to the Gulf Region” was written by Dr. Joseph R. Mason, Louisiana State University endowed chair of banking and renowned economist. Mason said he estimates the moratorium will see a loss of 8,000 jobs and $500 million in lost wages in the Gulf Coast in the first six months.

“The moratorium will cost the Gulf Coast region jobs, money, and economic development,” he said. “In fact, the moratorium could be more costly than the oil spill itself.”

weirdAlAmishOk.  When the Amish rate a “Amish Gone Wild” video, the world is doomed.  Just saying.

LEON—An Amish teen who tried to flee police faces charges of alcohol possession and “overdriving an animal” after he crashed his getaway vehicle— a horse and buggy.

Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies reported over the weekend that Levi E. Detweiler, 17, ran a stop sign and refused officers’ attempts to stop the buggy. Deputies chased Detweiler for about three quarters of a mile, and when he tried an unsafe turn into a driveway, he crashed the horse and buggy in a ditch. The teen then fled on foot but was found later in the area.

The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau completed an investigation and charged the youth with possession of alcohol by someone under 21, overdriving an animal, second degree reckless endangerment, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle in the incident that occurred at about 1:30 a. m. last Monday. He is free on $500 bail.
