So, is Amnesty International really concerned about human rights, or is it just another left-wing front organization whose real purpose is to bash the United States?

Silly question.

"Amnesty International (AI) Secretary-General Claudio Cordone has come under fire for defending jihad when it occurs in "self-defence" – a position many other human rights advocates believe "would gravely undermine the future of the human rights movement."

Amnesty International is also aligning itself with a group called "Cageprisoners," which sounds like it would be a really cool DVD series, but is, in fact, an organization devoted to defending Islamist butchers like Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and other ACLU poster boys.
