But this guy, specifically, seeks a job in which his only job is to stop terror attacks on planes. And he doesn’t consider it a top priority. Or, if it is a "top" priority, he’s pretty promiscuous in in giving that designation to a lot of priorities.
His belief is that "terror" (one can hear the sneer-quotes in his voice) should be at a level of "parity" as far as prioritization with global warming and education.

Former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin signed on with America’s top cable news network, FOX News.
The Washington Post reported:Sarah Palin, who regularly rips the media, is becoming a television pundit at a place where she’s likely to feel at home.
A Fox News executive says the network will shortly announce that the former vice-presidential nominee is signing on as a contributor.
Palin, who resigned as governor of Alaska last summer, will appear as a commentator on various Fox shows. She will also host an occasional program that will examine inspirational tales involving ordinary Americans.
Palin will join Mike Huckabee as a Fox contributor who was also involved in the 2008 campaign. The exposure can only help Palin if she decides to pursue a 2012 presidential bid.

Wilmington, Del. (AP) - Jean Biden, who raised her son Vice President Joe Biden to believe in what he called "America’s creed … everyone is your equal," died Friday after falling seriously ill in recent days. She was 92.
In a statement, the vice president said she died in Wilmington surrounded by her family and loved ones. She had suffered a broken hip in a fall in March 2009.
"Together with my father, her husband of 61 years who passed away in 2002, we learned the dignity of hard work and that you are defined by your sense of honor," he said in the statement. "Her strength, which was immeasurable, will live on in all of us."

The AP reported this morning that the billions of government dollars that were spent on road projects and bridges did nothing to curb unemployment as Obama and democrats had promised.
But it did add to the national deficit.
The unemployment rate has spiked to 10% since President Obama took office despite his promise that it would not rise about 8%.Ten months into President Barack Obama’s first economic stimulus plan, a surge in spending on roads and bridges has had no effect on local unemployment and only barely helped the beleaguered construction industry, an Associated Press analysis has found.
Spend a lot or spend nothing at all, it didn’t matter, the AP analysis showed: Local unemployment rates rose and fell regardless of how much stimulus money Washington poured out for transportation, raising questions about Obama’s argument that more road money would address an “urgent need to accelerate job growth.”
Obama wants a second stimulus bill from Congress that relies in part on more road and bridge spending, projects the president said are “at the heart of our effort to accelerate job growth.”

The scientists’ predictions also undermine the standard climate computer models, which assert that the warming of the Earth since 1900 has been driven solely by man-made greenhouse gas emissions and will continue as long as carbon dioxide levels rise.

By Saturday afternoon, Reid had apologized to the President and the apology was instantly accepted — 3:49 PM ET to be precise.
Applying the most generous measure, the President personally and publicly responded to this emergency in 16 hours flat or as Ed Henry repeatedly noted, on "Day One." A White House press flack didn’t issue a press release or go on television — the President himself rescued Reid from his calamity with lightning speed.

The latest O-ttack on the Jews comes in the war of threats and sanctions against Israel. Obama’s hatchet man in the Middle East is the profound failure George Mitchell.
US President Barack Obama’s special Middle East envoy, George Mitchell, threatened late last week to withhold financial aid to Israel if the Jewish state does not accept demanded concessions to Islam.
I pray that Israel tells Obama to take his loan guarantees and shove them up his ass.
JCH opined, "Having George Mitchell working on this situation is a farce and a disgrace. He was orphaned at a young age and adopted by Lebanese parents. He was raised in an Arab household. I’m sure he learned a lot of helpful things about Jews and Israel there. He is completely unfit for this job. But in that respect, he fits in well with the rest of the Obama crowd."
Mitchell proposed that sanctions be considered against Israel, including foreign aid and other support provided by the United States, as a potential solution (ah, yes, a final solution) to help him make some progress in the ongoing Middle-East negotiations.
So let’s understand this. Iran can build a nuclear arsenal fit to blow up the world, they can slaughter their own Muslim (and non-Muslim) populations with impunity, they can threaten to wipe non-Muslim countries off the map, but Israel cannot be sovereign. Israel will be punished for not submitting to Islam and surrendering to Islamic anti-semitism.
