So mind-bendingly insane is this that I thought Roggio might have been duped by his sources. Not so: Both the Guardian and now Jake Tapper have independently confirmed that it’s true. Remember Qais Khazali? We wrote about him a bunch in early 2007. He used to be an al-Sadr deputy, then broke away and hooked up with Iran to start his own little mini-Hezbollah. That group, the “League of the Righteous,” ended up pulling off one of the most notorious, sophisticated anti-American operations of the Iraq war in Karbala. The toll: Five Americans murdered, four of them after they were kidnapped, bound, and shot in the head like animals. U.S. troops caught up to Khazali two months later and captured him and his brother; the ID cards of several dead American soldiers were recovered at the scene. No less a figure than David Petraeus went on to blame the Karbala raid squarely on Khazali’s outfit and accused Iran’s Quds Force — the creme de la creme of the Revolutionary Guard, responsible for assisting Iranian proxy jihadis like Hezbollah in other countries — of bankrolling the whole thing.
And now, after three years in U.S. custody, he’s free.
“We let a very dangerous man go, a man whose hands are stained with US and Iraqi blood,” a military officer said. “We are going to pay for this in the future.”

Rush Limbaugh Hospitalized With Chest Pains, resting comfortably. Somehow, AP still managed to slip in a smear.
Well, it sounds like he will be ok, but details are sketchy.
HONOLULU — Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh’s radio program says he is resting comfortably at a Honolulu hospital where he was taken with chest pains.
The program said in a statement Wednesday that Limbaugh appreciates people’s prayers and well-wishes. The statement says Limbaugh will keep people updated via rushlimbaugh.com and his radio program.
A simple story like this, and the AP just couldn’t let it go without mentioning that he was addicted to drugs at one time. A full page story, but what was the last paragraph?
Two years later Limbaugh acknowledged he was addicted to pain medicine. He blamed the addiction on severe back pain, and took a five-week leave from his radio show to enter rehab.
It had nothing to do with the story and was obviously tacked on the end.
Denied UK visa, no luggage, paid cash for a one-way international flight. How did this guy NOT get stopped?
I mean… COME ON! This is pathetic. I have a feeling that we are going to find out about a Obama administration secret directive to ignore Muslims soon. It seems so unlikely that someone like this could have gotten on a US bound plane without someone higher up ordering rules ignored.
The hapless Homeland Security head has a 679-word piece in today’s USA Today basically promising to do better. She begins with this line [emphasis added]:
Friday’s attempted terrorist attack against Northwest Flight 253 near Detroit is a powerful illustration that terrorists will go to great lengths to try to defeat the security measures that have been put in place since September 11, 2001.
"Great lengths?" Really? You buy a plane ticket for a kid, stick a few ounces of explosives in his nappies, then hope he’ll make it onboard and remember which end to light.
And far from choosing someone with a good chance of completing his murderous mission, the plotters picked a guy with enough red flags surrounding him to have stocked a May Day parade back in the old Soviet Union. Need we count some of the ways?
- Denied British visa.
- On some kind of US watch list.
- Father warned our embassy and various intel agencies.
- Paid cash.
- One-way ticket.
- No checked luggage.

The Biggest Threat To US Security Right Now Is Obama.
The only thing Obama did quickly with the “Underwear Bomber” was charge him in civilian court. The first thing his lawyer said was “stop talking” and that’s it. No more intel. He was giving us information on additional bombers and ongoing plans, but now, we get nothing.
Why?
Because, as Cheney said:
As I’ve watched the events of the last few days it is clear once again that President Obama is trying to pretend we are not at war. He seems to think if he has a low key response to an attempt to blow up an airliner and kill hundreds of people, we won’t be at war. He seems to think if he gives terrorists the rights of Americans, lets them lawyer up and reads them their Miranda rights, we won’t be at war. He seems to think if we bring the mastermind of 9/11 to New York, give him a lawyer and trial in civilian court, we won’t be at war.
He seems to think if he gets rid of the words, ‘war on terror,’ we won’t be at war. But we are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren’t, it makes us less safe. Why doesn’t he want to admit we’re at war? It doesn’t fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn’t fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency – social transformation—the restructuring of American society.
So, because Obama refuses to admit we are at war and refuses to see jihad as a threat, one of the biggest threats our country faces is… Obama.
Sadly, I am not sure if its stupidity or a hatred of the US that fuels him. To say that he is just making stupid decisions requires a level of ignorance that makes it unlikely he would know how to dress himself.
We’re Hoping he Changes his mind and tells about his training and any other plots he might know about.
Abdulmutallab remains in a Detroit area prison and, after initial debriefings by the FBI, has restricted his cooperation since securing a defense attorney, according to federal officials. Authorities are holding out hope that he will change his mind and cooperate with the probe, the officials said.

Yesterday CBS reported that the CIA had information on Abdulmutallab. The agency quickly fired back that they didn’t really know all that much about him.
A U.S. intelligence official defended the agency’s handling of the elliptical information, telling POLITICO: “Abdulmutallab’s father didn’t say his son was a terrorist, let alone planning an attack. Not at all. I’m not aware of some magic piece of intelligence that suddenly would have flagged this guy — whose name nobody even had until November — as a killer en route to America, let alone something that anybody withheld.”
“Magic piece of intelligence”? What the hell do they need? A signed confession from the guy 6-8 weeks prior to his attempt to kill almost 300 people?
Obama Pushes New $1 Trillion Flyer’s Stimulus Bill. Touts Millions Of Lives Saved Or Created By His Airline Rules
Obama, in a press conference from Hawaii, revealed how his actions have saved or created millions of airline travelers lives in the past year as well as revealed his new Flyer’s Stimulus Bill.
“Our hard work in 2009 has created a system that worked, saving or creating millions of flyers every month. Hold on… FORE!!!”, Obama said, from the 12th hole on the lovely Kaneohe Klipper golf course. “As we all know, this potential ‘man-made disaster’ was prevented by my administration, which required a person’s birthday before he would be able to get a ticket to the US.”
When asked about the hero on the plane who stopped the bomber from his actions, Obama politely reminded the reporter “this is about my administration, about me.” He also stated that the full power of the justice system would be put into action to prosecute this flyer who illegally restrained and attacked this Muslim. “We must respect Muslims. Stealing his igniter, although is may have prevented his underwear from accidentally exploding, is unacceptable and racist.”
Later, Obama answered questions about his “lives saved or created”, he explained, in vague terms that millions of people fly every month and the “mile-high club”. Since people are known to sneak into the bathroom to have sex, every female passenger is counted as 1.3 lives saved because there is a chance she might get pregnant.
Discussing his proposed Flyer’s Stimulus program, Obama had this to say “We need this money right now, or many people will die horrible deaths due to ‘man-made disasters’ caused by the Bush administration. We don’t have time to set up oversight or read the bill. We need this money now.”
When asked for details, Obama yelled “Look, racist conservatives!” and rode away towards the 13th green in Golf Cart One.

He wasn’t fired outright; just transferred due to "controversies" he caused. And frictions with the leadership of this unit, which apparently didn’t like having the voter intimidation division investigating actual voter intimidation.
Good Lord. They don’t even care. They don’t even care.

Union Blocks Red Cross Blood Donation | Right Wing News
Any person who dies because the blood they need is blocked by the actions of this union should be prosecuted for murder.
In their greedy desire to steal even more money from employers one union has even gone so far as to block Red Cross blood donations from getting to a hospital as well as picketing blood drives from private companies. In other words, these union thugs have put money and their quest for power above the health, welfare, and medical needs of real people.
As BigGovernment.com reported a few days ago, union workers for Red Cross have been picketing locations in an attempt to disrupt Red Cross Blood Services operations. In one case, the Red Cross was blocked from delivering blood that was supposed to go to save the life of a two-year-old child.
The unions were so disrupting delivery of life saving blood that the Red Cross had to resort to the courts to stop the union thugs from stopping them.

A writer for TIME magazine reports that the president and his family are not attending Christmas services. Gee, what a surprise! Barack Hussein Obama has consistently shown his lack of understanding of the Holy Bible, his disdain for the spiritual meaning of Christmas (no Nativity crèche in the White House), and his propensity to bow to Muslim leaders.
