Great Palin post about what makes her an awesome politician by an Alaskan fisherman

By Dewie Whetsell, Alaskan Fisherman. As posted in comments on Greta’s article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.

The last 45 of my 66 years I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska.  I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year.  Here’s the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it.  It’s not about persona, style, rhetoric, it’s about doing things.  Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I’m about to mention here.

1- Democrats forget when Palin was the "Darling of the Democrats" because as soon as Palin took the Governor’s office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican’s "Corrupt Bastards Club" (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits. The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, "la la la la" (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar. But while you’re thinking, I’ll continue.

Obama’s Happy Thanksgiving Hajj Message – Atlas Shrugs

In related news, Obama is proposing renaming the US to Obamistan.  Not really, but I expect it soon.

Whilst spying on the Jewish people in Israel  ……….. Obama does dawah. For all those leftists and Islamic apologists who accuse me of saying Obama is a crypto-Muslim (which I have not), I respond, what difference would it make if he were? What would he do differently if he were a crypto-Muslim? Nothing.

On Thanksgiving eve, Obama issues special Hajj message to world’s Muslims

Did anyone else hear how Obama welcomed the PM of India?

obama23 I am a bit late on this because I heard it, but I didn’t write it down.  I finally saw it somewhere.  When he said it, my jaw hit the floor.

Did he thank him for showing up?

Did he praise him or is country?

No, he reminded him how blessed he was to be in the presence of The One.

"Yours is the first official state visit of my presidency, its fitting that you and India be so recognized,"

Are you freaking kidding me?

Oops! Now New Zealand NIWA Accused Of Faking Data | Right Wing News

Finally.  For years I have been saying it was all crap.  Now it starts to come out.

From Anthony Watts through a report from the Climate Science Coalition of New Zealand, we find some more climate alarmist chicanery

The New Zealand Government’s chief climate advisory unit NIWA is under fire for allegedly massaging raw climate data to show a global warming trend that wasn’t there.
The scandal breaks as fears grow worldwide that corruption of climate science is not confined to just Britain’s CRU climate research centre.
In New Zealand’s case, the figures published on NIWA’s [the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric research] website suggest a strong warming trend in New Zealand over the past century:

Honduras Supreme Court Says Socialist Dictator Wanna-Be Zelaya Cannot Legally Return To Office. Poor Obama.

zelaya_chavez Awww.  Obama’s socialist dictator-wanna-be and Chavez buddy got another slam from those who follow the law as opposed to those who try to force in a dictatorship.  Poor Obama must be very upset.

TEGUCIGALPA (Reuters) – Honduras’ Supreme Court ruled on Wednesday that ousted President Manuel Zelaya cannot legally return to office, dimming the possibility of his reinstatement after a June coup, court sources said.

The Court did not release the full text of its non-binding ruling, but a court source and a lawyer close to the proceedings said it closely follows earlier decisions upholding Zelaya’s ouster after he moved to change the constitution.
