Obama Succumbs to Relentless Patriot Pressure and Lowers the Flag …No Respect for our War Dead, Just Respect Islam – Atlas Shrugs
Obama is vulgar. How can anyone look to this fool as a leader?
The White House did not lower the flags to half mast… until a woman got on their case and wouldn’t let up. The biggest attack on the largest military base, and the America hater in the White House can’t see fit to lower flags. He’ll run the Chicom flag up the flagpole, but he can’t bring himself to respect the righteous men and women who lay down their lives every day so that he can play basketball with Reggie every afternoon.
Thanks to our “embedded Texas patriot” in D.C., Anita Ross, the White House agreed to lower their flags to half-mast in honor of the Ft. Hood massacre.
FYI…the White House/staff had no intention of lowering the flags…in fact, early Friday AM after the “closet Muslim terrorist” had finished his “atrocity against Army” warriors, the flags were raised to “full staff.”
Incensed and incredulous at the POTUS and his staff/subordinates’ complete disregard and disrespect for the dead, dying, and wounded in Texas…flying the Flag at “full staff” in D.C. was unacceptable to Anita Ross…a Patriot from Texas A & M and the mother of a Marine currently serving in Afganistan.
Anita burned up the phone lines in D.C. and in Texas…Congressmen/women…Governor Perry’s office…White House…all heard from her as she “assaulted the arrogance” of the clueless bureaucrats who mostly despise our military…demanding that honor be shown by lowering the flags.
She was stonewalled, ignored, shunned…everywhere but in Texas.
When it became obvious that the Liar-in-Chief and his team were completely ignorant, insensitive and insipid toward the “atrocity” (not “tragedy”) at Ft. Hood…
When it became obvious that Anita Ross was not going to take “no” for an answer…
When it became obvious that Duty, Honor, Country deserved recognition…
When it became obvious that Americans true to the Red/White/Blue demanded “half mast” honor…
The clowns in D.C. lowered the flags…

This is a common theme with the left. It had nothing to do with Reagan. I mean look at the craziness.

Of course. How could it actually have been due to a man who applied huge economic and political pressure forcing the Russians to overspend themselves. How could it have been the leader of the only nation that Russia feared who caused this? I mean, the guy was an actor, right?

The 20th Anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall has become a rather big deal over the last few days, with lots of people chiming in in the media. They all seem to be forgetting one thing: it would not have happened, at least certainly not that early, if it wasn’t for Reagan’s brilliant plan to bankrupt the Soviet Union, what he called the Evil Empire. Ross Douthat gives the Fall of the Wall a try in today’s Fish Wrap, and fails to mention Reagan

Several weeks ago, STRATFOR heard from sources that the FBI and other law enforcement organizations had been ordered to “back off” of counterterrorism investigations into the activities of Black Muslim converts.
So now, the Obama’s either suicidal naiveté (or willful assistance to Muslims who hate us) has born fruit. Of course most press stories are covering up for him, but this leaked out.
ABC’s Brian Ross reported Monday that suspected Fort Hood shooter Nidal Halik Hasan tried to contact people connected to the terrorist group al Qaeda.
Even worse, U.S. intelligence officials were aware of this months ago, and "it’s not known whether the military was ever told by the CIA or others that one of its majors was making efforts to communicate with figures under electronic surveillance."
Given media’s discomfort with discussing Hasan’s Muslim ties, as well as their desire to never point fingers at the Obama administration, it’s going to be very interesting to watch how Ross’s exclusive report on "Good Morning America" Monday will be covered in the coming days
