Hey, Obama. Instead of honoring anti-semites with medals, how about one for the real hero who stopped the jihadist?
Instead of giving shout outs to a woman who publicly hates Jews, perhaps you should honor a real hero, the woman who stopped the jihadist on Fort Hood.
And as Pamela Geller says, this is poetic justice. A great woman shot a disgusting man, saving lives… OUTSTANDING
This is poetic justice. The jihadi mass slaughterer was taken down by a … woman! Think about that. Let’s blast that shiz through the caves of Tora Bora.
That’s the real story. It should be wall to wall on Al Jizz.It would have been much worse had she not responded.

American Woman Took Down Jihadi Hasan at Fort Hood – Atlas Shrugs
Obama’s Frightening Insensitivity Following Shooting | NBC Chicago
Wait, Obama is more interested in “shout outs” than soldiers who died? Next thing you will tell me is that he is more interested in politics than sending troops his generals requested to Afghanistan. Oh, wait…
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior’s Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow — that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?
Anyone at home aware of the major news story of the previous hours had to have been stunned. An incident like this requires a scrapping of the early light banter. The president should apologize for the tone of his remarks, explain what has happened, express sympathy for those slain and appeal for calm and patience until all the facts are in. That’s the least that should occur.

Maddow Wrongly Claims ‘Constitution Doesn’t Have A Preamble’ | NewsBusters.org
UPDATE: Apparently she reads my blog.
Maddow Apologizes For Constitution Gaffe With Schoolhouse Rock
Yes, Boehner was quoting from the Declaration of Independence and not the Constitution, but her understanding of the Constitution, as usual, is defective.
The Constitution does have a Preamble, and anyone old enough to have watched Schoolhouse Rock in the mornings can recite it by heart. We REALLY need to bring Schoolhouse Rock back. I learned so much stuff from those silly little animations.
Did you know the United States Constitution doesn’t have a Preamble?
Well, that’s what the oh so arrogant, high and mighty MSNBC host Rachel Maddow told her audience Thursday night.
In a segment attacking the attendees of yesterday’s "House Call" protests on Capitol Hill, Maddow chided Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Oh.) for claiming he was quoting from the Preamble of the Constitution (video embedded below the fold with partial transcript, relevant section at 2:05, file photo):
RACHEL MADDOW, HOST: Congressman Akin was not alone in stumbling over a little basic U.S. history. He had some good company in the top Republican in the House, Minority Leader John Boehner.
(VIDEOTAPE)
JOHN BOEHNER (R-OH.): This is my copy of the Constitution. And I’m gonna stand here with our Founding Fathers who wrote in the Preamble, "We hold these truths to be self-evident…
(END VIDEOTAPE):
MADDOW (waving hands): Nnn, Constitution doesn’t have a Preamble. Not. Nope. Stop it. That would be the Declaration of Independence. Ooh.
Actually, Rach, the Constitution DOES have a Preamble

Hot Air » Blog Archive » Asia Times: US threw Abdullah aside to retreat from Af-Pak theater
Oh! This is an interesting one. If this is true, I hope it gets picked up on.
The sudden withdrawal of Abdullah Abdullah from a runoff election against Hamid Karzai in Afghanistan has people scratching their heads. Abdullah himself cited security concerns in withdrawing from the race after fighting to have election irregularities recognized in Karzai’s apparent attempt to falsify the first round’s results. However, Asia Times reports today that the US negotiated Abdullah’s withdrawal as a way to negotiate with the Taliban and retreat from Afghanistan:
Abdullah Abdullah, who this week withdrew from the presidential election runoff in Afghanistan, thereby handing victory to the incumbent, Hamid Karzai, did so under pressure from the United States, Asia Times Online has learned.
In exchange for the pullout of the non-Pashtun Abdullah, Pakistan’s military has agreed to actively mediate between Washington and the Taliban over a reconciliation plan that will allow the US to exit from Afghanistan, as it is doing in Iraq, with a semblance of success. …

Michelle Malkin » Democrats and the death of deliberative democracy
PLEASE… Read this article. Click on the link and READ IT. Its very important and written a lot better than I would have done.
The House vote on Speaker Pelosi’s government health care bill is set for Saturday morning. She is scrambling to buy off recalcitrant Democrats on two of very issues that Rep. Joe Wilson and other House Republicans called out the White House for: abortion and illegal immigrant coverage. The wheeling and dealing is taking place behind closed doors. Once again, the Democrats who promised transparency are ">breaking their own promise to publish the final bill publicly 72 hours before the vote.

Obama Gives Shout Out to ‘Congressional Medal of Honor Winner’ Who Isn’t Before Talking About Fort Hood
Someone explain to me why giving “shout outs” were a higher priority than talking about the Fort Hood attacks. Someone explain to me how he is so stupid to not understand the difference between the Medal of Honor and the Medal of Freedom. Someone explain to me how he is so stupid to not remember what medal HE gave the anti-semitic woman.
The Washington Post this afternoon reported "President Obama delivers remarks on Ft. Hood shooting at end of tribal leaders conference." The transcript begins:
SPEAKER: PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA
[*] OBAMA: Please, everybody, have a seat. Let me first of all just thank Ken and the entire Department of the Interior staff for organizing just an extraordinary conference.
I want to thank my Cabinet members and senior administration officials who participated today. I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow (ph) was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It’s good to see you.
Ah, the dangers of giving shout outs without a teleprompter. Crow is not a Medal of Honor recipient. As noted by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society:
The Medal of Honor is the highest award for valor in action against an enemy force which can be bestowed upon an individual serving in the Armed Services of the United States. Generally presented to its recipient by the President of the United States of America in the name of Congress, it is often called the Congressional Medal of Honor.
Crow’s name is not included on the Society’s Medal of Honor recipient list. He was, however, awarded the Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, in August.

Hot Air » Blog Archive » Unemployment hits 10.2%
Is this proof that the Stimulus lie failed? It was $800 billion used by Obama to pay off political allies.
Unemployment hit double digits for the first time in 26 years as more than 558,000 lost jobs in October. The jobless rate went from 9.8% to 10.2%, a leap that quadruples the increase from August to September and indicates a rapidly-worsening situation for American workers:
The unemployment rate rose from 9.8 to 10.2 percent in October, and nonfarm payroll employment continued to decline (-190,000), the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. The largest job losses over the month were in construction, manufacturing, and retail trade.
In October, the number of unemployed persons increased by 558,000 to 15.7 million. The unemployment rate rose by 0.4 percentage point to 10.2 percent, the highest rate since April 1983. Since the start of the recession in December 2007, the number of unemployed persons has risen by 8.2 million, and the unemployment rate has grown by 5.3 percentage points. (See table A-1.)
CBS & NBC Fail to ID Hasan as Muslim; ABC’s Raddatz Relays: ‘I Wish His Name was Smith’ | NewsBusters.org
Thus begins the “It has nothing to do with Islam” lies.
Neither the CBS Evening News nor NBC Nightly News, in their East coast feeds Thursday night, noted the Muslim religious beliefs of the mass killer at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas, but ABC anchor Charles Gibson wasn’t cowed by political correctness as he teased World News, “Fort Hood tragedy: An Army officer, a Muslim convert, is the suspect in a shooting spree…” Introducing his first story, Gibson referred to how Major Nidal Malik Hasan “an army officer, a Muslim, opened fire with handguns…” (With a range of frequency, during late afternoon/early evening coverage, CNN, FNC and MSNBC all identified Hasan as a Muslim.)
Cryptically, ABC’s senior foreign affairs correspondent, Martha Raddatz, concluded a story on reaction at Fort Hood: “As for the suspect, Nadal Hasan, as one officer’s wife told me, ‘I wish his name was Smith.’” So, a concern this will lead to groundless fear of Muslims?
The CBS Evening News avoided any mention of Islam or Muslim faith as Katie Couric provided this benign description: “Today, according to the Army, a soldier opened fire….He’s identified tonight as Army Major Nadal Malik Hasan, a licensed psychiatrist and drug and rehab specialist from Bethesda, Maryland.” NBC anchor Brian Williams: “The soldier, identified as the initial gunman here, is an Army psychiatrist, Nadal Malik Hasan. He’s an officer, a Major, and he was apparently armed with two handguns.” NBC’s Pete Williams insisted, the MRC’s Brad Wilmouth noticed, “everything about his background is rock solid, and nothing extraordinary stands out about his background.”
