Obama cum Chavez style information control. These newspapers need to die a long overdue death. They are dishonest merchants of self styled propaganda. They abdicated their role as public servant, in the service of investigative journalism, long ago.

The NY Times has been in hospice long enough. Their reign is over. They are a cancer that infected every media organ in the country and outside it. They would set the news for the day. They were the template that others followed. They set the news agenda for the day, everyday. They are the propaganda machine for the Democrat party. They are depraved and partisan.

As far as Obama pulling a Chavez style media coup …… this ain’t Venezuela. This is a free market society.  Period. If business is bad, you go out of business. If you have become obsolete (horse and carriage), then you are done, kaput, good-bye. C ya.

Ok, we have officially, in my book, passed into the realm of treason.  Obama wants to destroy this nation.  What possible advantage is there to this idea?  None, except to weaken the US so our enemies can gain ground against us.

As promised, Barack Obama will go ahead with his plan to weaken America’s stand in the world.
The Guardian reported today that Obama is pushing a radical plan to eliminate not hundreds but thousands of the nation’s strategic warheads, via Free Republic.

Barack Obama has demanded the Pentagon conduct a radical review of US nuclear weapons doctrine to prepare the way for deep cuts in the country’s arsenal, the Guardian can reveal.
Obama has rejected the Pentagon’s first draft of the "nuclear posture review" as being too timid, and has called for a range of more far-reaching options consistent with his goal of eventually abolishing nuclear weapons altogether, according to European officials.
Those options include:
• Reconfiguring the US nuclear force to allow for an arsenal measured in hundreds rather than thousands of deployed strategic warheads.

Ok, when did I enter this alternate reality?  Did Stephanopoulos actually take Obama to task?

When did he start actually questioning Dems, especially the president???

President Obama and ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos got in a testy sparring match Sunday over whether the president’s health care plan includes a tax increase, leading the host to look up the Merriam-Webster dictionary definition of taxes.

In the interview airing Sunday, Stephanopoulos pressed the president on his plan to require people to purchase health insurance.

"Under this mandate, the government is forcing people to spend money, fining you if you don’t. How is that not a tax?" the host asked.

Obama responded: " No, but — but, George, you — you can’t just make up that language and decide that that’s called a tax increase."

Stephanopoulos then offered the dictionary definition.

"I don’t think I’m making it up. Merriam-Webster’s dictionary: ‘Tax, a charge, usually of money, imposed by authority on persons or property for public purposes,’" he said.

Visibly taken aback, Obama rejected the notion it was a tax increase and said pulling the dictionary out was a sign the host was "stretching" a little. 

"No. That — that’s not true, George. The — for us to say that you’ve got to take a responsibility to get health insurance is absolutely not a tax increase," Obama said.

Of course using a dictionary would be stretching it.  We can’t expect Obama to follow the law, how can we expect him to follow a dictionary!

Once again, Obama is in direct conflict with the national security of this nation.  He goes out of his way to help the enemies of the US.

Of that, as of October 2008, $42.7 million has been obligated, and $20.8 million disbursed. Additional funds, discussed in the chart below, have been appropriated for cultural exchanges, public diplomacy, and broadcasting to Iran.

However, the Obama Administration did not request funding for democracy promotion in Iran in its FY2010 budget request, an indication that the new Administration views this effort as inconsistent with its belief in dialogue with Iran.

This is amazing.  Obama is trying to pretend he has no idea what is going on with ACORN.  He has a long history with these criminals.

Channeling clueless Charlie Gibson and Nancy Pelosi, President Obama is playing dumb about ACORN. Here’s what he said on ABC’s This Week this morning:

STEPHANOPOULOS: But have your — have some of your allies made it easier for — handed your opponents some ammunition, like ACORN, for example…

OBAMA: Well, look, the — you know, I think that — are there folks in the Democratic camp or on the left who haven’t — haven’t always operated in ways that I’d appreciate? Absolutely.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Congress said they should cut off all funding for ACORN.

OBAMA: Is — is — is…

STEPHANOPOULOS: … all funding for ACORN. Are you for that?

OBAMA: Is that true on the other side, as well? Of course that’s true.

STEPHANOPOULOS: How about the funding for ACORN?

OBAMA: You know, it’s — frankly, it’s not really something I’ve followed closely. I didn’t even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Both the Senate and the House have voted to cut it off.

OBAMA: You know, what I know is, is that what I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you’re not committing to — to cut off the federal funding?

OBAMA: George, this is not the biggest issue facing the country. It’s not something I’m paying a lot of attention to.

It strains credulity — no, it snaps credulity in half — to believe Obama “didn’t even know” that ACORN was “getting a whole lot of federal money” given his extensive legal services on behalf of the group and training for its voter education arm, Project Vote
