Ahmadinejad learns to obey his masters and dumps VP.

ahmadinejadFrom one of my favorite blogs today:

After having a senior cleric read a public fatwa against his choice of first vice-president and a televised order from Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei telling Ahmadinejad to get rid of his toady, the Iranian president finally accepted the resignation of his son’s father-in-law from the post  — HotAir

Please check my blog roll.  I have spent most of my time focusing on the US economy, but there are other threats in the world, some much more dangerous to us all than Obama.  Iran, Islamic fundamentalism, and so on.  Some of those sites cover these much better than I could.  I highly recommend Jihad Watch.  Robert Spencer is an outstanding author and backs up everything he says.

Rassussen poll shows over two-thirds of the nation think Stimulus bill was useless!

July 25, 2009 Leave a comment

stopwastingmoneyThis is awesome and feeds my call to reverse the bill and get our money back, but there is no way the Dems would do that to the One.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 25% of U.S. voters now say the stimulus plan has helped the economy. That’s a six-point drop from a month ago.

Thirty-one percent (31%) say the stimulus actually hurt the economy, little changed from a month ago. However, this is the first poll showing that more voters believe the plan hurt rather than helped.

A plurality (36%) says the plan has had no impact.  — Rasmussen

Now, give that some thought.  A trillion dollars, wasted on a Stimulus bill that is so bad, that Obama, who screamed again and again we needed emergency stimulus, is now afraid to call it a “Stimulus” bill.  It’s now a “Stabilization” bill.  A bill that has the large majority of the money already handed out going to Obama supporting areas and the people who need it least.  A bill that crippled the economy.  A failed experiment.

Add to this the multi-billion dollar bailouts of US car companies (please don’t notice that the only one who didn’t accept it just posted a profit…nothing to see here) and the bank takeover bailout that may cost us $23 TRILLION more.

And now this ecenomic retard, this traitor who through his ignorance, hatred of capitalism and the US, and his ego is trying to foist on us a health care fiasco of epic proportions.  How does he still have support?  How can anyone in thier right mind say that the stimulus helped?  Exploding deficit, record unemployment with no end in sight….  WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Ok, rant over.  Read the poll.

Ford made money…without the bailout. SWEET

fordBwahahaha

Ford Motor on Thursday posted a surprise profit of $2.26 billion for the second quarter, ending a streak of four straight quarterly losses.

In recent months, the carmaker has claimed market share from its American rivals, General Motors and Chrysler, while those companies struggled to restructure their operations in bankruptcy court.  – Washington Post

Apparently, they did some very radical ideas, such as cutting costs and building a better product.  Obama should denounce them any second now.

Stalin would be proud – GOP Not Allowed to Say 'Government-Run Healthcare'

censorshipDemocrats love to talk about the First Amendment when they are using it to force you to accept thier warped points of view, but it vanishes into the ether when you want to tell the truth about them.

“It came to me from the Franking Commission and I have the email from the Franking Commission here if you’d like to see it,” Carter said.  “We held a telephone town-hall… When you hold telephone town-halls you have a recorded message that introduces the town-hall and the subject matter you’re going to be talking about.  You have to now submit that language to the Franking Commission.

“What we proposed as language was as follows, ‘House Democrats unveiled a government-run health care plan,’” Carter said.  “Our response from Franking was, ‘You cannot use that language.  You must use, ‘The House majority unveiled a public option health care plan,’ which is Pelosi-speak or ‘just last week the House majority unveiled a health care plan which I believe will cost taxpayers…’”  — Human Events

My first question is why does what they GOP wants to say have to go through approval process?  Its amazing how badly they want to pass this, how they claim it will help the “people”, but are desperate to avoid having the “people” find out any details about it.

I came across this comic and had to share it.

Its the GOP's fault… even though NOT ONE voted for it.

obama_liarNot sure yet if this is funny or sad.  In ther greatest example of “I am rubber, you are glue” since the elementary school playground, Obama is blaming the GOP for the record deficit.

The Stimulus Stabilization Bill?  246 Yea – 183 Nay.  How many GOP voted for it?  Not a single one.
The current budget?  233 Yea – 196 Nay.  How many GOP voted for it?  Again, not a single one.

The One is so unwilling to take resposibility for anything he has inflicted on this country, it borders on delusional.

The doctors would like to have a word with you Obama…about your tonsils.

docobamaToo Funny.

In reply, the AAO-HNS stated, “We, too, are in favor of evidence-based medicine that supports quality patient care. President Obama’s statement highlights the complexity of medical decisions like this. However, the AAO-HNS is disappointed by the President’s portrayal of the decision making processes by the physicians who perform these surgeries. In many cases, tonsillectomy may be a more effective treatment, and less costly, than prolonged or repeated treatments for an infected throat.

“For the past several years, the Academy has been developing clinical guidelines based on evidence and outcomes research, including ‘Quality of Life after Tonsillectomy,’ a January 2008 supplement to the journal Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery. We are in agreement with the President’s statement that physicians, patients, and hospitals should make the decisions, based on the evidence, about what’s best for patient care.”  — BusinessWire

I just don’t understand how all these doctor’s could be so deluded to not agree with the One.  He obviously knows better than you simple physicians.

Just 25% Now Say Stimulus Has Helped The Economy, 31% Say it Hurt

Rassmussen reports that the Stimulus…sorry, the Stabilization bill looks more and more a failure in the eyes of America.

Confidence in the $787-billion economic stimulus plan proposed by President Obama and passed by Congress in February continues to fall.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 25% of U.S. voters now say the stimulus plan has helped the economy. That’s a six-point drop from a month ago.   — Rassmussen Reports

Now is the time for us to start talking about the money that still is unspent in the bill.  It’s a failure.  Lets cut our loses and back out.  Put the money back into the system and not waste any more of if.  But I don’t think thats the plan…

Come mid-term election time, alot of that money will suddenly be released into the economy.  Voters will see money coming their way.  All praise the Democrats.  He is holding that money to bribe the voters to keep Congress.  Just my opinion…

Jobless claims jump…higher than expected

July 23, 2009 1 comment

Jobless_rateDoh!  And right after Obama rescued us.  HOW COULD THIS BE???

The number of newly laid-off workers seeking jobless benefits rose last week, though the government said its report again was distorted by the timing of auto plant shutdowns. …

The increase follows two straight weeks of sharp drops largely because automakers didn’t lay off as many workers as expected in early July. General Motors and Chrysler temporarily shut down many of their plants earlier than usual this year, in May and June, after filing for bankruptcy protection and restructuring their companies.

A department analyst said the government’s seasonal adjustment process expected claims to drop sharply last week, after the normal pattern of auto layoffs was complete. But that didn’t happen, causing seasonally-adjusted claims to rise.

Weekly claims remain far above the 300,000 to 350,000 that analysts say is consistent with a healthy economy. New claims last fell below 300,000 in early 2007. The lowest level this year was 488,000 for the week ended Jan. 3.   — Yahoo News

Question for the readers:  Has the One ever said anything and NOT had the news the next day prove him completely wrong?

Democrats Block GOP Health Care Mailing

July 23, 2009 Leave a comment

brady-chartThe Dems are fighting hard to keep everyone ignorant of what is going on.  So, here it is.  They wanted you to have flowchart of the fiasco that ObamaCare will cause.   Click here to download the PDF.

Democrats are preventing Republican House Members from sending their constituents a mailing that is critical of the majority’s health care reform plan, blocking the mailing by alleging that it is inaccurate.House Republicans are crying foul and claiming that the Democrats are using their majority to prevent GOP Members from communicating with their constituents.

The dispute centers on a chart (view PDF) created by Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas) and Republican staff of the Joint Economic Committee to illustrate the organization of the Democratic health care plan.

At first glance, Brady’s chart resembles a board game: a colorful collection of shapes and images with a web of lines connecting them.

But a closer look at the image reveals a complicated menagerie of government offices and programs that Republicans say will be created if the leading Democratic health care plan becomes law.  — RollCall

Wow…Just wow.  More of the Democrat transparency.
