Charles Krauthammer suggests that the press lets Obama get away with anything so he thought he could say anything about race he wanted to

I always liked Charles Krauthammer.  I don’t always agree with his analysis, but you are guaranteed that whatever he does come up with is well reasoned and thoughtful.

Newsbusters has an article up about Krauthammer explaining how Obama thought he could get away with insulting a white officer for arresting a biligerant black man who was breaking into a house and refused to identify himself.  The reason is simple, the press kissed Obama’s ass every other time, why wouldn’t they ignore his racism this time?

Sublime, Charles.  Absolutely sublime.

“A lot of the Obama presidency is a contest between his intelligence and his arrogance” and he thought “he can say anything on race and is so smart that he will be untouchable.”

One reason for that, Krauthammer contended, is that after he “gave the famous speech in Philadelphia” on race in March of 2008, in which “he did not renounce Jeremiah Wright” as “he blamed everybody for racism — black, white and grandmother, except himself,” he nonetheless “was hailed by a supine press as the second coming of Lincoln at Cooper Union. So after, that you think you can say anything on race and be hailed as a genius.”

Outstanding point.  The press kissed his ass for so long that he is completely shocked when someone in the press actually questions  him.

I have actually told people that I absolutely expect him to snap at some point, lashing out at someone who questions him for having the audacity to question the One.

Obama has always had an ego several orders of magnitude larger than his intelligence, but the press has been feeding it since day one.   The question is, how will his ego going to deal with the questions and upsets that are starting to come faster and faster.  My guess is he will blame everyone else.

Neil Barofsky, IG of TARP, explains why TARP could cost us $24 TRILLION and that the Treasury wants to hide the truth

As you read this, note that its not a front page article.  Oh hell no.  $24 trillion dollars is hidden in the blog section of ABC news.  (Emphasis is mine)

Called the “SIGTARP,” Barofsky appeared before Congress this week and told them that the government’s commitment to fix the financial system could potentially reach $23.7 trillion, and criticized the Treasury Department for calling his team’s estimate “inflated.”

“I think that the Treasury Department ought to read the report before they make comments, at least the spokesperson’s office,” Barofsky said. “Our methodology is laid out in black and white in the report. … As far as the numbers being inflated, where do you think we got the numbers from? We got it from the Treasury Department, we got it from the Federal Reserve. … If these numbers are inflated, it’s because they inflated them when they put them out in the public, not because of us.”  –  ABC News Blog/Podcast

And the best line?  Maybe the Treasury should try getting a calculator…

“Perhaps their criticism is that we dare to do math,” he said. He added that his team tried to convince the Treasury that they were wrong, and that recipients should be required to report on how they use the federal funds, and those should be shown to the American people so that they know it’s “not being thrown into a black hole.”

This guy is awesome.  He had better be careful.  Soon he might end up being accused of being senile and given an hour to quit, like Walpin.

CBO does it again: Key ObamaCare cost-cutting proposal probably won’t save money

Iraq investigates Obama administration… "meetings violated Iraqi sovereignty and showed tolerance for terrorists"

Wow.  What more can be said?

Iraq said Friday it was investigating reports that U.S. delegates and Sunni insurgents held reconciliation talks in Turkey this year, alleging the meetings violated Iraqi sovereignty and showed tolerance for terrorists.The State Department acknowledged that unspecified meetings took place, but said Iraq knew about them at the time.  — Atlas Shrugs

So, Obama tries to subvert the legal democracy in Honduras and now tries to undermine the democracy in Iraq and help the terrorists.  Its really terrifying when the greatest threat to democracy in the world is the president of the US.

It will be interesting to see what Iraq finally determines.  Wouldn’t it be interesting if Iraq brought the State Dept up on charges?  What would happen then?  If anyone has a legal background and knows about this, please comment.  I really am interested in this question.

Obama wants to make sure Honduras stops following thier Constitution

Obama’s administration has something against Honduras.  Thier “president” disobeys the courts, attempts to subvert thier constitution, attempts to rig the vote, and steals millions from the country and Obama turns on the lawful government of Honduras after they legally remove him from office.

To add insult to injury:

Washington has already suspended more than $18 million in military and development assistance.  — Patterico

Why?  To me, it seems that Obama is worried that the US will see removing a president for subverting the Constitution as acceptable, and he is scared to death that someone will notice he wants to do the same thing.  He is already breaking laws now.

Disgusting – 8 year old girl is raped by 4 youths, disowned by parents

Disgusting Part 1:  An 8 year old girl is raped by 4 boys aged 14 and younger.

On July 16, 2009, in the city of Phoenix Arizona, four young, neighborhood boys, ages 9, 10, 13, and 14 lured a little girl into an empty shed. The boys used chewing gum to lure the girl into the shed. It is believed the 14 year old was the ring leader. When the little girl went into the shed, to get chewing gum, from her cousin and three other boys; the boys held her down and took turns raping the small girl.  — Associated Content

Disgusting Part 2:   Parents disown the child because she has brought dishonor to the family for being a victim.

A father said his daughter brought shame to the family. The grown sister told the young victim, it’s not good to follow boys because you are little. She also feels the victim brought shame to the family. Even the mother shunned the little girl. The family feel that the little girl brought shame to them because she was raped. The victim’s sister also said, the little girl is bringing confusing among us.

 Question:  Anyone want to put odds on this family being Muslim?

Sarah Palin – The more I see, the more impressed I am

Sarah Palin is still upbeat, after all that she has been hit with.  She loves the military and the country.  Its a shame our president is the polar opposite of her.

 This man swore again and again that there would be no tax increases on the middle class.  This is a major change to what he said before and a major policy shift.  And no one cares.  What the hell is going on here?  Why is it not being covered and slammed???

It was covered by the blogs, like HotAir, but where is the media outrage at the One’s lies?

So many things should be major headlines, but get ignored.  Even the $24 trillion cost of the TARP crap isn’t getting play.  I had to search on Fox News to find it and thats where I first saw it.

I wonder what his polls would look like if the truth was actually reported on all this stuff.  No one is even asking the One to clarify this.
